A couple of years ago I had a dream. God’s people were washing themselves bunched up together in the shower of a dirty, gray castle. They couldn’t seem to get clean no matter how much they tried.

In the dream God wanted me to warn his people that there was looming danger in the castle. When I followed orders, some of the people came up behind me. By the time I got to the huge entrance  almost all the people were following.

In the corner near the castle gate there lay a pile of spears. They were broken from battle. I picked one of the broken spears up. It was all I had to defend the people who were following me. But when I lunged forward with the spear at arms length, it turned into a magnificent sword.

This blog begins the fulfillment of that vivid dream. May God bless us and give us discernment, strength and guidance to keep His word pure.

About me.

The best part of my story begins with a heart dedicated to Jesus Christ. The rest is unimportant. My friends are genuine and have touched my life in one way or another. My son is my favorite family member. My mom is a close second. I pray daily for those who are connected to me somehow and those I have never met who also love the Lord.

Today I write novels inspired by true stories. I call them:

Stronghold Smasher Suspense — encouraging novels about true heroes who overcome strongholds while facing harrowing trials because of their faith.

As Christians we are told to love our enemies. But we are also told to hate evil. When we see each type of evil individually as a spirit or stronghold in a person’s life, it’s easier to understand how we can separate the person from the evil–how we can hate the evil but still love our enemy.

Romans 12:9 (GW) Love sincerely. Hate evil. Hold on to what is good.

Romans 12:9 (AMP) [Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good.

Most of the time, the evil doer is unaware of how demons control our  thinking. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do”. We could readily forgive the person if we could see the person separate from [the stronghold of] sin.

Either as an example, or by speaking out, we should help others understand the effects of allowing evil thoughts to take root in our lives–to encourage each other in our desire to do what’s right according to God’s will.

Luke 6:35 Rather, love your enemies, help them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then you will have a great reward. You will be the children of the Most High God. After all, he is kind to unthankful and evil people.

      My advice to you is to get close to God. Confess your sins. Receive Christ. Jesus said if you ask anything in his name it will be given to you. Give and it will be given. There are many Bible verses that speak to your problem. If you have accepted the sacrifice of Jesus, you are one of God’s own. He will never leave you nor forsake you. We have prayed for your situation. Please let us know when the Lord blesses you. Look to what you have and not what you don’t have. Read: Stronghold of Poverty
