Free to Understand Paranormal Activity
When we hear about paranormal activity many of us cringe. Sorcery, witchcraft, and all sorts of demonic activity come to mind. If we can’t sense it by touch, hearing, smelling, seeing, or tasting we don’t want any part of it except in movies.
Children eagerly accept the unknown without flinching. How sad it is that we feed them a demonic version of the reality of the whole supernatural existence. Without Biblical instruction they drift to the dark side. Teens are gravitating to vampire love stories. Children to witchcraft and sorcery.
God is not visible to us in five senses and four dimensions–height, breadth, width and time. God is omnipotent. The Bible speaks of many dimensions. In order to understand the supernatural and paranormal activity we have to understand God.
Attempts to understand God in our finite, four dimensional thinking can lead to a rejection of God and His Word, or it can lead to a chaotic misunderstanding. God is spirit and therefore spiritually discerned. In the end we will all come to know that there is a God who existed before man in the form of the Word and Who exists in many dimensions–as much as eleven from all Biblical accounts.
We should realize that paranormal activity can only mean that we don’t understand, nor can we comprehend in our human finite minds or research, the vastness of God, of his love for us, and of his ability to create. God in three persons loves us with an everlasting love, not a finite or human love to understand humanly.
5 Biblical tips on understanding paranormal activity:
1 Don’t attempt to explain away paranormal activity. If something happened that can not be scientifically discerned, the chances are great that the paranormal is involved.
Matthew 27:52-53 The tombs were opened and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep in death were raised [to life]; 53And coming out of the tombs after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
Ephesians 6:12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
2. Don’t except everything as paranormal that can’t be readily explained. Be open to the possibilities without giving yourself over to fear or fallacies.
Matthew 14:26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, It is a ghost! And they screamed out with fright.
1 John 4:1-2 BELOVED, DO not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world. 2By this you may know (perceive and recognize) the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [actually] has become man and has come in the flesh is of God [has God for its source];
3. Draw closer to God. Read the Word of God. When we are in the shelter of the most high, the paranormal no longer confuses, nor does it frighten us, nor does it take too much of our negative attention.
2 Corinthians 4:4 For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.
4. Accept that no matter what is unexplainable, God never changes and His love for us never changes either.
John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
Matthew 8:16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick.
5. Do not delve into the dark side of paranormal activity. If you do, you could be getting involved in satanic activity. There will be consequences. This includes children’s books that propose to teach good while teaching witchcraft. Anything outside of God will always lead to destruction or death.
2 Corinthians 11:14 And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light;
1 Timothy 4:1 BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach,

My understanding of Paranormal is that it is ALL dark side, by definition
paranormal – not in accordance with scientific laws; “what seemed to be paranormal manifestations” unnatural – not in accordance with or determined by nature; contrary to nature; “an unnatural death”; “the child’s unnatural interest in death”
extrasensory, paranormal – seemingly outside normal sensory channels
Manifestations of evil origin. Otherwise they would be of the Holy Spirit, of God and His angels.

Not sure what your question is and what this is referring to. In using the definition of paranormal we’re not necessarily referring to the dark side of activity that is unexplainable scientifically. Is that what you mean?: par·a·nor·mal [par-uh-nawr-muhl] of or pertaining to the claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific explanation, as psychokinesis, extrasensory perception, or other purportedly supernatural phenomena.
The world English dictionary defines paranormal as: 1. beyond normal explanation
We cannot explain God with our five senses. This is considered normal to the world. Ephesians 6 says that our fight is not against flesh and blood. This is not normal to the world and is beyond normal explanation.
Keep in mind that we are speaking of paranormal, not demonic activity. All demonic activity is Satanic or demonically based. [IE: Rebellion against God--rebellion has its roots in witchcraft] Not all paranormal or supernatural activity is demonic. That’s why many are confused and have an unnatural fear of God. http://www.openbible.info/topics/paranormal_activity By the same token, that’s why many are confused and are drawn into witchcraft and the demonic arts dealing with supernatural occurrences which depart from God or Biblical teaching.
