Free to Battle the Enemy
With the Lord on our side how can we possibly fail? We’ve been set free by an act of God’s kindness–free to defeat the enemy. But who is our enemy and why do we feel as if we can still be defeated?
Maybe it’s because we can’t stop battling each other. Maybe it’s because we don’t really trust God. Maybe it’s because we have unconfessed sin in our lives.
If wrong thinking infiltrating our lives is causing divisions among God’s people, we will continue to be in a demonic stronghold. Our enemy is Satan and his demons. Not each other.
We are free from demonic strongholds. We are meant to join forces and with whatever God has shown us, come up against the enemy of righteousness [anti-Christ and all demons].
Each of us see a part of the whole. Just as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John each saw a different perspective of Christ‘s life and teachings, we each see Biblical truth from a different perspective with most of the fundamental aspects of God’s word in agreement. Each of us has been given a different measure of faith and different gifts.
It’s time to turn from worldly ways of division and strife. Let’s join forces and move forward in victory in Christ so that God may be all in all.

Revelation 21:10-11
5 Biblical tips to help us in the battle:
1. Be an encourager. Allow God to encourage you. We need to cease being critical of others according to race, nationality, income, age, or sex–we are all one in Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Romans 12:4-6 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
2. Remember who our enemy is. Hate the sin and the enemy that caused it, not the one who carries it.
1 Peter 5:8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.
3. Look to God and His Word for your help/answers in the battle. He is the maker and finisher of your faith. Do not look to the world, nor others outside of grace, particularly if your battle is spiritual.
James 4:2-4 2You want what you don’t have, so you commit murder [hate]. You’re determined to have things, but you can’t get what you want. You quarrel and fight. You don’t have the things you want, because you don’t pray for them. 3When you pray for things, you don’t get them because you want them for the wrong reason—for your own pleasure. 4You unfaithful people! Don’t you know that love for this evil world is hatred toward God? Whoever wants to be a friend of this world is an enemy of God.
4. Stand your ground no matter how rough the battle. Don’t doubt. Don’t give up.
Ephesians 6:13Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
5. Keep godly friends nearby. Two are better than one and a three fold cord is not easily broken. That’s you, your godly friend(s), and Jesus Christ.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one person may be overpowered by another, two people can resist one opponent. A triple-braided rope is not easily broken.

Well Said. We must realize that there is a war going on around us at all times, and that war is for our souls. We must be active in resisting the Devil so that he will flee. We must be united in Christ. Whether Jew or Greek, we are one in HIM.

Thank you. It’s becoming more and more unpopular to stand on the word of God. But John 1:1. May God bless you and give you strength to stand.
